New greetings cards available now online and in The Milk Parlour, Findhorn

I had been thinking about creating a series of greetings cards for quite some time, but just couldn’t decide whether it was worth doing or not. After ordering up a set of sample cards, and showing them to family, friends and colleagues, the feedback was very positive and based on that I took the plunge and ordered the first batch of cards.

For these cards, I chose two images from places close to where I live – Findhorn and Hopeman – with two other images from the Western Isles – Harris and St Kilda. The cards are 150mm x 150mm in size; blank inside so that you can write your own message; supplied with an envelope and are sealed in a cellophane wrapper. I’m really pleased with how they have turned out; the card is of a high quality and the colour matching and print quality is excellent.

The cards are now available to buy online through my Etsy shop which you can access by going to the Shop menu on this site. They are also available in a wonderful little gift shop in Findhorn called The Milk Parlour. If you are local, or are planning to visit the area, then I highly recommend a visit to the shop where you will find all sorts of locally hand crafted products. Bridie Ross Mowat is the owner and operator of The Milk Parlour and is herself a talented weaver; she even has a loom setup in the shop where you can often see the latest textile she’s working on.

You can find out more about The Milk Parlour at www.themilkparlour.com or on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/themilkparlour/ or simply visit the shop in person at Findhorn just across the road from the Bakehouse.

I have posted pictures of the cards below.
